• Designed to accommodate the needs of the most demanding users on farmland, woodland, as well as in the garden. 

• The versatility combined with an excellent power-weight ratio guarantee optimal cutting performance in all types of applications. 

These powerful lightweight cutters provide high torque even at low rpm and are ideal for any
kind of agricultural use such as lopping, collecting firewood, felling and cutting up medium/
large-sized trees. The decompressor valve, “primer” and semiautomatic choke offer troublefree starting under all conditions, whilst the one-piece handle/grip section has been separated
from the engine and ensures excellent manoeuvrability. The filter cover can be opened without
tools, whilist the Nylon filter is self-cleaning; the side chain tensioner makes maintenance as
simple as possible.
PERFORMANCE AND ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS
• Engine: Nickel-plated cylinder, 3 elements crankshaft forged,
connecting rod forged, 2 caged bearing and piston with 2 rings:
constant efficiency assured over time, even in tough operating
conditions (fig. 1-2).
• Engine unit separate from machine body (fig. 2): easy and quick
maintenance, enhanced reliability, reduced heat transmission.
• Electronic inductive start: guarantees high level performance
and extended lifetime.
• Reduced weight: power/weight ration for both versions is
rated amongthe best in this category.
• “Ice device“ ensures the machine can operate without
difficulty even at low temperatures (below 0 °C), avoiding the
formation of ice on the air fi lter (Fig. 3a).
• High flywheel diameter (Ø 100 mm), tongues with new
geometry (fig.4) designed to guarantee smoother operation of
engine and optimize engine cooling even in adverse weather
conditions (high temperatures).
• Aluminium Adjustable oiler: facilitates the task of the operator by allowing variation of the oil feed, according to the nature of use and the bar/chain combination; zero oil flow with the
engine at idling speed ensures lower consumption and reduced impact on the environment (Fig. 5).
• Aluminum chain guard guarantees optimum strength and
lightweight construction (fig.6a).
• The adoption of a fuel tank separated from the body of the
machine fig.7a) protects the fuel from the heat of the engine,
that favors the good operation of the machine in every environmental condition and of job.
EASE OF USE
• Anti-vibration system utilizing 3 spring dampers (fig. 9a) and
2 rubber (fig. 9b) stops with hands and body completely isolated
from machine vibrations, the operator benefits through increased
comfort.
• Automatic single lever starter: a single command for separate
or combined activation of semi-acceleration and the starter
(fig. 10a).The automatic starter device deactivates automatically
when the accelerator lever is squeezed fully down.
• Ergonomics: all the main saw controls are within easy reach by
just the right hand (fig.10). This enables work to continue without
having to remove the hand from the handle.
• “Primer” (fig.10b): fuel mixture is drawn actively into the carburettor
to facilitate starting from cold, after refuelling and following long idle
periods.
• With a “decompression valve” (fig. 11a) mounted on the cylinder
if activated in phase of starter reducing the internal pressure to the
combustion chamber, that concurs an starter express, with light
repercussions and the minimal effort.
• Lateral chain tensioner (fig. 11b): facilitates correct tensioning
of the chain during everyday use.
EASE OF MAINTENANCE
• Easy access and maintenance of the air fi lter and spark
plug; no special tools required to remove the cover (fig. 13a)
as the knob provides immediate access (fig. 13b).
• Nylon mesh filter surface (fig 13b): easier to clean and
extended lifetime.
• Thanks to the new “Self-cleaning” filter system, the
interval between two consecutive filter cleaning operations is
prolonged.
• Muffler with catalytic converter in the Euro 2 version guarantees
adherence to emission limits imposed by the latest European
anti-pollution standards (fig. 15).
• Lateral chain tensioner (fig. 16a): facilitates correct
tensioning of the chain during everyday use.
